Default Re: Manufacturing fault with Pearl series causes white, grey or black screens

Hello,

You said that you re-soldered the connection to fix the problem. What method did you use specifically? Did you flood the connection and then suck the excess, or solder each pin individually? I have a curve 9330 that suffered some water damage (the phone is working but with a white screen, and I have tried replacing the led) and a few of the connections from the lcd connector to the pcb are burned, and noticeably smaller than the others, so I am going to re-solder the connection. Since the pin pitch is so small I am thinking that I will try the 'flood and suck' method, as there is no way that I could solder each one individually. Any answers or advise would be much appreciated!
