All I can figure is that either the browser delivered a cookie with my SIM info as you described (hard to believe) or the company somehow has a hacking program that analyzes incoming IP addresses generates phone numbers from them.
What I can't believe is that a company I had never heard of before I had cause to google their name and hit their web site rang my phone 4 days later for the first time. One of only 5 incoming calls I've had in the last 7 days!
Oh well...
