1. you have to go and download device software for you blackberry
BlackBerry - BlackBerry Desktop and Device Software Download Sites
2. you have to install that software on your computer
3.then you have open loader.exe
navigate to
my computer> local disk C> program files> common files>research in motion>apploader
4 double click on loader file (looks like small cell phone)
and follow instructions
