Im not quite sure that you MUST have the bb data plan. And im curious as to what you meant with the evdo plan as well as the data plan. Did the sprint rep say they were different? I've never read anything on two data plans for the bb.
My question to you is, do you want the data plan? If not.... and im not sure if it will work on a 7130 or a 7250, but when I was on nextel, i was using a crappy i530 for a while until i bought a 7520. After i recieved the bb i popped in the SIM card and used it with no data plan for a few months with no problems at all. Im sure that if you didnt want a data plan, that might work for you. But dont take my word for it.
If your main priority is email, then a blackberry is the device for you. But if you want email, you must have a data plan..... and if there is two data plans, then im sure youll have to subscribe to both.
As to your question about the vision plan.... i honestly have no clue what that is. lol sorry
