Sandy, in all honesty, if you're that concerned about it, then get a device that suits your needs. As stated above, most users don't care about this. They're happy that they're getting their email on their phone. Is it an issue, yes. Can it be corrected, sure.

If you aren't happy and other phones have the security you need, then go get a Nokia, iPhone, or Android device. But remember, there are reports of people getting personal data from those devices without the access of email. Personal data such as credit card numbers and passwords. So these other devices may not be as secure as you think they are. Their hole may not be in email, but in the OS itself.
