I double checked. the 10 pound plan includes blackberry service, data etc. They say the Blackberry service is free.

I have talked to someone who insists that what I want to do is just plug and play with the new SIM. he tells me that BIS release 4.1 added the functionality to the BIS that detaches the BIs account from the SIM. It is just attached to a device. He tells me that when he travels, he puts his new blackberry enabled SIM in, enters his blackberry ID and password and everything starts to flow.

I am leaving tomorrow so I will update the forum on whether it works when i get back.
