Hi guys.

My girlfriend gave as a christmas present a blackberry curve 8300. She bought it from ebay, the phone is supposedly new, but most of the times when I am on a call, the phone just restarts itself. It is very annoying! I went to an ATT store, but they couldnt help me because she didn't buy it from them. I can't really use it because the problem is getting worse, every time it happens, the restart process takes longer.
I don't really know what to do, and she feels really bad for giving me a gift that doesn't work (besides the $300 she spent for it).

This is my first blackberry phone and I don't really have any expertise here. I am just assuming that it might be a problem with the software. Is it possible to reformat the phone and install the software again? How can I get it?

Can ANYONE please help me?? Please!!!
