Are the hotspots in Starbucks locations set to 802.11b only? The phone indicates b/g capability, but I only get an 11mbps connection and my phone calls are nasty quality. I have no problems with quality at home, and I've tried several Starbucks locations in the Phoenix metro area.
The phone also indicates no security, but the hotspot pamplets at the condiment stand indicate that the hotspot supports WPA.
Also, is there a way to determine if a hotspot is setup for WMM? I know some of the wardriving apps can indicate feature support, but I don't know of any that indicate WMM.
