Because as of last night, T-Mo still won't let me use it. I go to http://www.blackberry.com/aim from my BB's Browser, and I still get the message telling me that my carrier does not allow me to use the AIM client.
As of 11:50AM Sunday (today), I still can't download these clients from blackberry.com using my 8300 running on T-Mobile. I get the error msg indicating that my provider doesn't allow this.
