Does anyone know what I can do about getting rid of the voice mail identification icon (apparently I have 3 voice mails). I would call it, but I don't actually have phone service. There is a phone number associated with the phone and I can make emergency calls, but my company doesn't pay for actual phone service, so I have no voice mail box and I can't just call and delete them.

Anyway, its on a blackberry 7750 and any help would be appreciated, either with how I can clean them out of my mail box (Verizon I think) or just disable the notification given that I don't actually have a working blackberry phone.

Apparently, the initial solution to this problem was for our IT folks to call Verizon and have messages (from wrong numbers or whatever) individually deleted, but now the policy is to just accept the notification icon is not going away because that was taking someone too much time.
