I bet many JT users still have another IM program or even a couple still on their BB for backup purposes. I have IM+ as my backup and also to compare to JT.
I used to run RIM Yahoo, RIM GoogleTalk and OZ or Ramble for AIM all at the same time with no problems. Then I bought IM+, then started testing JT.

takes more space, more flash memory, you will use up all your open ports (limited on BB) and consume your battery faster. At least this is my understanding...
PS I would never pay $50 for an IM program such as IM+. I mean i like IM+ but i do not think $50 is the right price...
