Yeah, heres a thought. How many "Blackberry Killers" does that make that have been written about in the last 2 years? I have lost track. Last time I checked (and the writer of the article should have as well), RIM is alive and kicking and still selling Blackberrys as fast as they can. Maybe he was confused and thinking about Lindows being the next "Windows" killer. Or maybe the Zune being the next "Ipod" killer.
Your link is a good starting point for what is bound to become a very interesting thread. But I am tired of reading people saying what is going to be the next killer of a well established and industry leading product. Soon as I see "killer" in the article, its tiem to move on to something different.
