So..finally Verizon releases the 4.0 for the 6750 and now i am having issues..sigh.

Anyway here is what i did:

1. Downloaded from the Verizon site dekstop manager 4.0
2. Downloaded, from the Verizon site, handheld manager 4.0
3. Inserted unit into crade, launched desktop manager and wasnt prompted for the upgrade.
4. Tried app launcher, couldnt find the upgrade.

Is deleting the vendor.xml file the issue?
If so, why? What does that do to allow the upgrade?

Also, what is the handheld manager function?
