Actually maybe you can do that....
The new Motorola Razr V3 phone uses a mini-USB cable to charge. So if you go to Motorola's website and look under V3 accessories, they have an adapter/spliter cable you can buy for $10 which splits a mini-USB so that one side is still a mini-USB and the other side is the standard Motorola charger plug. The only thing they warn in the instructions is not to use this adapter if you are charging from a PC USB port -- they suggest only using it if you are using a regular charger plugged into an electrical outlet. You may want to try it and see if it works.
