Open source BB development.
Is anyone interested in starting some open source blackberry development projects?
I am a budding blackberry programmer with an extensive background in C and VB. Just getting the whole Java syntax and operators worked out.
I think if we started a thread for ideas for some ideas for some practical programs, ie. nothing enterprise in size, we could really help people learn as well as get some of the software that we all want.
Let's get this party started and start building some apps to benefit the whole BB community.
As an afterthought, any BBF member with 2 posts per week on average or some other participation based criteria gets the app for free, everyone else can paypal $5 per app to and agreed upon charity or something. I know that I would be willing to pay $5 for pretty much any app that I would find useful to myself, and it might even get the site some exposure.
