u can try this...
go into fb for bb -> options and uncheck 'facebook notifications' then log out of the app. Open the app up again -> options -> and check 'facebook notifications' and your BB OS should begin to recognise the puished data and notify you. then you may wanna shut donw ur BB and take the battery out. Wait ten seconds, then put it back in and wait for ur unit to boot up. Open up fb for bb and log in and see if ur notifications are still on.
i don't believe its an app glitch but rather a service glitch which is temporary. Try to jump start the app like u would a dead car battery with the process i described above. once the phone catches on, it will push the notifications. Also u may wanna clear the fb cache and ultimately if non of this works, uninstall fb for bb, wipe all mention of "facebook" on ur device using your "files" app in the "Application" folder, then reinstall.
then it should work.
