Hi folks first post on this forum for me.

I am in desperate need of help. We are installing new PC's for a client and one involves the Blackberry Desktop Manager software and syncing contacts and calendar to his phone. He is attempting to sync his Blackberry 9630 (tour) with his new windows 7 (32bit) pc.

We have tried several versions of DM (4.3, 5.0, and the newest version) and all give me the same error. When configuring the sync (only the address book) after I hit finish I get the error:

Function OpenMsgStore failed

We are not running BES (not sure if this is relevant or not)

He is using outlook 2007.

The calendar will sync without a problem this only happens when we try the address book. I have seen several other threads about this happening with notes, but I haven't found anything about the address book. We tried resetting the sync settings and starting fresh and nothing seems to work we always end up the exact same error.

Sorry about the length but this is about all the information I can supply. Any help would be extremely appreciated. Thanks guys!
