Yes, I did plug the BB directly into the computer USB and made sure the power couldn't be shutoff by the computer on the hub root.

I downloaded the handheld software 8350iAMEA_PBr4.6.1_rel421_PL3.1.0.28_A4.6.1.28 file and the Desktop Manager autoupdated to 5.0.1.37. I deleted the vendor.xml file in the apploader folder. I unchecked the "backup data" box and went with the 4.6 update.

It loaded JVM and system software and then turned off when "net_rim_cldc.cod" was being loaded like it always does. I retried 6 times

, waited for the screen to show 507 and retried again but still no sunshine in my day.

Should I shoot my old cell phone in front of it to instill some fear?
