Hi all

I was reading on this forum a while back that no-one has had much success pairing the BB 7290 with the TomTom GO 700.

Happy to report that I have been able to pair the two devices and make calls.

I had to upgrade both of them though - here are the details:

BB 7290 - v4.0.2.49
TomTom v5.4.2

My phone asked me to enter the PIN, I entered 0000 and hey presto!

The only thing that I wasn't able to do was download the phone book into the TomTom, so seeing as my phone is synchronized with my Outlook Contacts, I exported my Outlook Contacts to a CSV file, then copied the CSV file to the TomTom using my USB connection - named the file CONTACTS with no extension. I was able to dial from my TomTom phonebook, and get named CallerID when someone from my contacts list called me.
