radio is cutting off with a full battery!! can somebody help me with this?

the satellite signal keeps turning itself off even with a full battery and its driving me insane!! is there anyone who has had this problem or knows someone who did? I'm trying every avenue that I can before i have to but a new one. I have the Pearl 8130.
