1. Did it work?
2. Does ALT+(right)CAPS+DEL ever resolve anything that a battery pull can NOT resolve?
3. I would suggest you uninstall Google Maps (delete under Options-Advanced Options-Applications) and install it again.
4. If the above does NOT work, Could it be that the OS of this device needs an upgrade? Compare the 2 devices' OSs.
5. I would NOT delete BB Maps if I were u. (I like and need both),
a) you can easily get directions from one BB Address Book contact to another. Google Maps doesnt.
b) BB Maps gives you directions where ever their BB Maps exists. e.g. Google Maps exist for South African cities but you cant get any directions from these maps.
c) BB Map directions can be smsed, emailed and printed, I dont think Google Map directions can be copied, smsed, emailed and printed.
d) BB Maps alows you to copy location cordinates and give them someone to locate you on BB Maps or Google Maps. Google Maps does not give location coordinates.
