This solved the lock up problem for me as well. They really should clarify that you have to have BBMaps installed for it to work.
Now my only issue is the My Location setting. Google Maps and BBMaps both give an accurate location via GPS. When I choose "Update (GPS Fix)" it sticks me in a zip code twenty miles from here. I've been able to add a location that's much closer, but it would be nice if the GPS location were correct. I even went outside to do it and got the same results. Any ideas?
