Many of Mothy's themes have the SMS/MMS icon separated from the Messages folder. Go to Messages, hit MENU, chose OPTIONS then GENERAL OPTIONS... scroll down and on the entry for SMS and Email Inboxes: choose SEPARATE. Save it, and then see what the theme looks like.
