Blackberry 10 does support Android Apps and seems to work for AOL. Again , depending on the carrier restrictions, any OS type may not work without a data plan of some type. F you can try a friends BB...

The AOL site is very limited in the information offered. It does sort of imply the Opera will work but does not specifically state so. the statement that "smart phones" will work ok may be a bit off...

Sadly without a data plan not much can be done to access the email account. It may be better to use another service. I use Yahoo on mine.
AOL may be thinking it will force customers in a direction...
