I think the only way to do this is to have 2 sim cards. You cannot have a voice and data from different carriers on one sim card.

I don't know if there is an easy way to do this, but you could always just record an audio file on your computer without any sound, upload it to the pearl and assign that as ringtone.

You can get rid of the Icon by hiding it. Highlight the icon, then press the key in the lower left corner of the keypad (whatever it is called) and then push the wheel.

I don't think just switching the sim cards is going to work. The account also has to be updated with the new PIN number, but I may be wrong.
