Have you tried deleting the service books for MSN and re-registering your BB? I'm not sure if that will definitely fix the issue, but that's what I've done in the past to get MSN...

Try getting off the 3G network (Options > Mobile Network > Network Mode) and try again. That's what I did to get it working.

nez, if you have 'dial from home screen' set to 'no'...u can simply use the shortcut key (ie. 'k') to lock your keypad..otherwise, you can always set your convenience key to lock your keypad
