I suggest you put in Dialog or Status messages...

I suggest you put in Dialog or Status messages (see classes) and find the exact line your code is bombing on. we get this message when there is incorrect code. it's not very helpful.

Currently our BES is configured to send emails as UTF-8 (as default). Is it possible to change to send emails as US-Ascii as there are issues with other applications not picking the BlackBerry...

Has anyone successfully converted a bitmap to a Byte[] or Int[]? Trying to do this to store the bitmap in the persitent store or for sending back to the server. Not sure how to convert the Bitmap...

if you use the alt-escape combination it allows...

if you use the alt-escape combination it allows you to change application. then either alt-escape back or re-invoke the application from the ribbon wheel.

We have no plans to change our current method...

We have no plans to change our current method since that has been working well for us. I guess we'll always be loking at new methods and trying to decide whether or not to change.

Yeah exactly. We took out all tags. We use newlines to separate rows and a one character separator to split items on the rows. Basically one large data chunk to cut down on the volumes.

We use http to return our data. We dont format...

We use http to return our data. We dont format the data in the web page - just set the type to be http and add the data with no html tags. then parse it ourselves on the handheld

In my experience sometimes signed cod's still give this error. try deleting the cod's, rebuilding, resigning and reloading. can be frustrating. should work eventually.
