Desktop Manager Gives you the option to remove some apps. at that time I removed all the pre-installed IM messengers I think I took BB messenger out by accident just to relive some memory on her BB...

You need data plam for IM to work and also Blackberry Enabler is just for MMS messages only. You IM's will not work unless you have a DATA plan.
