How to send a message using only keypad

my track wheel has stopped clicking in so i cant send messages i can get to my messages and read but when i press r to go to the reply screen i then cant click send a message i usually had to click...

It worked fine for years but now overnight they switch a button and it doesnt work anymore. i love this phone

I cant find any axl files or cod files, and when i did it still wouldnt let me select them in the folder to add an applictaion

Ok, i found a cod file but in desktop manager when i try to add an applictaion it wont let me select the file from the folder?

what am i doing wrong

ok my problem, went to update 8700 with os4.5...

ok my problem, went to update 8700 with os4.5 stopped half way as it said the application loader was unable to connect to your device so unplugged it and then the red light just flashed now it does...
