If you are running OS6, then it is the OS which is taking up a lot of the memory. For me, OS usually takes up 140 MB of RAM, and has maxed at 200 MB once. Downgrade to OS5 would be a solution....

Go to home screen, hit Menu>Show all. All of your hidden apps should appear, along with appworld.

Options>sounds and ringtones>sounds for selected profile Look around there that should do it.
