AFAIK , themes need to downloaded directly onto your Blackberry and will not work if you have the same installed on the memory card. Best bet is to get yourself a new Data Cable.

I feel the OP is referring to the Profile picture to be put up on BBM. Using a high resolution picture and then cropping it seems to be the only way ... I could be wrong.. if anyone has a workaround...
