They're all the same, the letter just designates...

They're all the same, the letter just designates carrier specific versions.

8700: c - Cingular, r - Rogers, f - Orange, v - Vodafone, g - Generic.

O2 carries the 8700g, as do Telefonica...

I use an unlocked 7100v on Cingular here in the US, so I don't see why you shouldn't be able to do the same on Telstra.

You can get the latest handheld software for the 7100v from Vodafone UK...
