Use Blackberry Desktop and you can remove any apps you feel you don't...

Since I am in the big sandbox I don't really have a choice but to look for them online with my PC. I write down the ones I want then when I go on R&R I download them via OTA.

The biggest difference I can see between these 2 is the 512mb to 256mb. To me the 9650 is still a Tour. Which would you get? I have the 8900 which I'm happy with, although I might pick up a 9700...

The answer is the same as the other thread you started about this subject. Don't remove the sim card. Start at Options and go from there. Make sure all connections are off in the Manage Connections...
