Nevermind. I just figured it out. As long as you don't allow access to the memory card via the Roxio Media Manager, it'll be able to read from the memory card. Odd.

Yeah, I agree. It take a good day or two (depending on temperature and humidity) for the unit to completely dry. If you tried to turn it on within that period, it most likely shorted. :(
