The one thing that we all seem to have in common is that we are all on a company BES that automatically initiates the Enterprise Activation (where each core component gets initialized/sync'd)...

I think we have already ruled out the possibility of it being a bad O/S load or a 3rd party software. A few of us have wiped the bberry clean, done a fresh install of the official .534 and of .546...

We are having the exact same problem with extremely high CPU usage of the 'Phone' application ever since upgrading to .534
Unfortunately no solution yet...

Stevew - When you go into your CPU usage screen, do you see 'Phone' occupying 90%+ of the usage?

To check this:
Options->Device->Application Mgmt->CPU Now
Note: the screen refreshes every 5...

Well 6 hours later after fully reinstalling .534 through Desktop Manager I still have the same problem .. so frustrating.

Ok, thanks. This time I downloaded the file and tried reinstalling .534 through Desktop Manager. It is still updating so I'll let you know if it fixes things.

I just confirmed with a colleague that the 'Phone' item should not be using 99% of the CPU resources all the time. He has the 9700 with the previous .442 OS. His shows 0% usage when he let's the...
