Nice part is the system is 2 parts; car specific bracket + phone specific 'clip'. either of the two is interchangable/replaceable.

Well, unit started to randomly hang over the past couple days. Both times, was in the middle of an email reply which caused me to loose the text (needed to battery pull).

Anyone else see this?

Hello,

Open your contacts, press the Blackberry Menu key, select options, make sure you select NO on the Mobile Backup option way at the bottom.

It is better for me. I plug my phone in every evening around 11 and unplug when I wake up. I don't think I ever had a battery problem.

Well, I ran the 'Mobile Backup' function under 'Options' in the 'Contact' database and it reported success and the 'notes' field doesn't have any added text.

So far, I haven't seen the SMS send/receive problem crop up on this release but I will try sending from various spots where I know the EDGE/3G signal changes. On UMA I haven't notice a problem yet....

Am starting to see odd behavior around SMS and UMA. Many times over the past 2 days I have had to "recycle" the connections to get an SMS message sent out.

A couple times it had "lost" any mobile...
