i guess it's just for the latest update. This means they wont give any support for these os on the latest version, you can still install the previous version (don't update to the latest one). or else...

clear all app cache, browser cache.....
If you can remember which app you installed recently and that may cause the ad, just uninstall it.
If it doesn't work, i think you must install adblocker app...
