Hello, on registration for WES it said that under Active network Connect that if you agreed to it RIM would make a profile up for you that you could then see who else was going and chat to them...

All my BES's come back with Send as permission failed on exchange 2010 as well. It has got the send as permission though! So figured if it aint broke don't fix it!

Is this the 3rd SRP key you...

Should have said they way I combated it in the end after days and days of trouble shooting was to create a brand new BESadmin account straight on the exchange 2010 with fresh permissions etc. Then...

Are you picking a users name when running the IEMStest? Ie run it and when you select a user run it for yourself to test the permissions.

I had a similar problem with a bes that migrated users...

But why would they delete the appointment from Outlook? The outlook calendar has no entries in it now from 6 months and beyond, normally they would just delete on the BB not from the outlook aswell.

Have you checked the permissions for BESAdmin. Send as, recieve as etc. If the ETP message is stuck in the mailbox then normally its send as missing, firewall issue.

Yes the end user says that he has tried all the resolutions on this as I sent it through to him earlier.

I think it must be permissions as on all the others BESAdmin had the send as permission...

No I checked to make sure no enterprise activation was triing to complete. USer wiped his phone also.

I made the handset BIS only after the wipe as well so he has not got the Enterprise...

Ahh I googled and found the same resolutions too and did them. As I said I deleted the service books, deinstalled the DM, Reinstalled DM, Deleted the email accounts from the Blackberry internet...

Bit of a confusing one. A user on BIS is getting an ETP.Dat message in his outlook mail. So normally the following steps clear the problem.

Could be loads of things. SRP not connected, services not running, could even be good old fashioned remove the user and readd them back on or resend the service books.

Ah ha you are correct - All working fine now. Exchange was using the same port so I changed it to 3443 and it works! Thank you so much for your help.

Can you use the transporter tool to migrate users from BES 4.1.1 to Bes 5.0.2? Or do you have to apply service packs on the 4 to get it up to a certain level?

You could use the blackberry transporter tool and move all the users across that way. It picks them up off the old and moves them straight across.

First thing to do is get the Data added for blackberry on to your number. You will need to call your service provider to have that added on. Once you have added that on then you can go to "set up"...
