Doesn't work for grinder dust though as that stuff sticks into the soft rubber of the scroller wheels. Gave me a good idea to try lying the BB on top of the magnet so that gravity helps. Cheers for...

If you are a mechanic, or exposed to grinder dust, roll your trackball up and down by pressing a clean fridge magnet against it. If metallic dust isn't the problem, gently hoover the track ball...
