Dont use desktop manager. Just plug your phone into your pc then open whatever drive your bb is labeled (ie. d:blackberry) simply drag your jar or jad files onto the media card.
unplug your phone go...

No problem here with vista and DM 4.5 manager...

No problem here with vista and DM 4.5 manager with media. Make sure you are signed in as admin with vista . my guess is corrupt download.

sounds like your screen. I have seen them on the net for around 50.00 and they look pretty simply to replace. there are even videos on youtube on how to disassemble.

The latest bb desktop manager software (4.2 sp2) is what i use to put videos on with with. it comes Roxio :) will even convert ther files if needed.
