Its possible you may be using WAP to browse [i.e. if you go through Orange's WAP page] which may be taken out of your 100MB.
However, as Rambo said, you should have only BIS, and then 100MB...

2. no. you have to get the BIS account with verizon deleted, otherwise you cannot use BIS on the italian sim. Because your device is already registered with a BIS account, you cannot...

The 9000 doesn't have a keyboard lock button on the top left, it has a standby/mute button.
Is your device stuck in standby mode?

Press MENU to get to the screen with all the application icons.
Notice the TOP line is the same icons as one the front screen.
Move whichever icons you want to that...

Changing the keyboard will not change the underlying key mapping.
And there are 2 different 9100 models, which have different keyboard layouts. [The 9100 and the 9105]

Yes. grps means no data GPRS means data.
Call vodafone, make sure you have a blackberry data plan on your account.

You have to pay virgin extra for a blackberry data plan. You would call them up and ask about Blackberry Internet Service, they would advise you how much extra a month it is.

Raz, some routers now use "wi-fi protected setup" this enables the device connecting to give a PIN to enter into the router settings for "easier connection".

It should already be set to use 2G&3G [options - mobile network].
Perhaps you are not in a 3G area, or have bought a torch that has different 3G frequencies that your network...

GPRS = 2G EDGE = 2.5G

Its a slower data connection than 3G.

Login to BIS account and use Change Device when you want to change devices. Enter the PIN of whichever device you want to use, after inserting the sim in that phone.

Only way for it to create a backlog is to turn off data services, but as you're aware this turns off the ability...
