I am also running DM 5.0 on my Windows 7 x64 installation. I haven't had any issue with it at all and have been running it that way since the RC was released, and then the RTM version.

I tried that too. I am going to try copying all my ringers and Background images to the Device Memory and see if that helps any. Maybe accessing the Media card is causing the issues.

Yes, the device.xml is on the BES server itself. Just have the IT guys do a search for that file and it will pop up. And I don't know if this will fix the issue, I just know that I have no issues...
