I think so. I didn't have a click problem though. My track ball wouldn't go up, ie could move cursor down, side to side, and click. But had use "T" to go up. Mine began working like new after a soft...

I have the same problem with mine. However, I dropped it from about seven feet, so I figured something must have jarred loose. It self corrected once( at least I think so) till I driopped it again....
