Here is the complete procedure, with pictures, for replacing the "dome" aka trackball select switch. It is a pdf file which requires that you have adobe acrobat reader.

Curve 8300 on AT&T using 4.2.2.166. Using Motorola H700 Bluetooth headset. On a regular basis, when trying to use voice dial the phone gets stuck at "initializing.." Is this part of this problem...
