I don't understand gimping the WiFi. User at work like to use it, especially the NY users who are in buildings with bad reception. They could just use the Wifi to get out.

I dont see the big speed difference with EVDO, only on the mobile web sites. Regular ones, especially ones with scripts take forever to load.

The word from verizon though was that the 7250 had evdo built in and only required a firmware upgrade which of course has not come out.

Then you could use it as a modem.

Actually no, different press releases said it would and the verizon sales people (even some of the corporate ones) were telling us it would ship with BB connect.
