Apologies for the late reply. Yes the imap settings didn't work, so back to pop and imap. I re-created the account on the BIS site as advised and so far so good.

As a quick update, I noticed his download...

As a quick update, I noticed his download settings in gmail were set to download via pop and via imap.

I have disabled pop and will see how it goes but if anyone knows anything more definite then...

Neither are we, we're on BIS!!

I don't think that would do it as I believe that only applies to emails deleted from the bb and how it would then sync with the mailbox. The problem is in reverse....

The thing is, I never tested it before the move...

The thing is, I never tested it before the move to Postini so it could possibly be the "notifier" bit at RIM that I need to get sorted.

I suppose it's best to ask if anyone is using the postini...
