Re: Unable to create users on BES10

The BDSAdmin account doesn't necessarily need rights in the user domain; I used an account with rights in the user domain but no rights to the account domain.

Re: Unable to create users on BES10

I'd appreciate any reportback from RIM.

Unable to create users on BES10

I have a bit of a strange one here that's annoying me terribly.

I've installed BES10 (BDS 6.2) successfully. Port 3101 is open, SRP is connected. We're still on the 60-day trial, and I'm hoping...

Re: Server name for Exchange 2010 seems different from 2007

The DAG is for mailbox servers, not CAS servers, so the DAG name has no relevance to BES. You'll be looking for the CAS array name for BES, because that's what MAPI will connect to.

Re: BESX local to hub or mailbox?

It connects to the CAS server with MAPI, so close to CAS would be the best.

Exchange migration, multiple BES/BESX servers

Our organisation is doing a migration of Exchange 2010 to a different Exchange infrastructure, and all the mailboxes will be migrated across. Our users will stay on the same AD domain, but the new...

Yes. (Well, I do know that the throttling severely slows down mail delivery to BlackBerrys.)

Move the BESAdmin account to 2010 first. Also check the throttling policy on 2010 (there's a Blackberry article on it).

Re: BES 5 and Exchange 2010 DAG / High Availability
