I've heard no mention of anyone receiving Data Connect for free. I've been paying $50/month from the beginning for unlimited access outside of my voice package.

They do have a semi-knowledgeable support team, however, they are not "officially" supporting the blackberry. This way, they don't have to honor helping OS problems, bluetooth problems, internet...
