Ok, so I spoke to Verizon and there is a $15 charge for my area. Aside from tethering to my laptop, is there any other benefit to upgrading? The tech guy said I did not have to change my account to...

Another dumb question
First post so I'm getting the dumb questions out of the way; is there any benifit to doing this if I live outside the EVDO coverage area?
