I recently added an email account to my Torch temporarily and must have screwed something up during setup... I recently deleted this email acct from my phone but whenever I open up my address book...

apparently I did not make a full backup...

apparently I did not make a full backup somehow... I did the advanced restore of a previous backup and that had all sms messages in there up to that point... weird. thanks!

I just updated to the latest Bold 9000 OS. I backed up everything on Desktop manager. I loaded os, then did the restore, but it did not restore any of my sms text messages or emails I had...

mine was doing the same thing when I had call...

mine was doing the same thing when I had call logging on - where all your incoming calls are reported in the MESSAGE icon as new "messages".

Turn off call logging and it should take care of that...
